Fear of People
I have always seemed to be afraid of people. Even as a child, I would avoid groups of people. I only had a few close friends growing up, but they were wonderful people. After graduating high school, I realized I have to talk with strangers out in the world in order to hold down a job. It was very uncomfortable at first, but I was determined to get past my fears. I can now carry on conversations with acquaintances, and even strangers. My fear hasn't completely disappeared, but I seem to be functioning well in my workplace.
